Showcased artist and commissioned by Ladyfest Ten 'Seven' focuses on the portrayal of women in the Media. Celebrities have become modern-day archetypes and the public's worship of them is fervent and un-tamed during their rise to fame. 'Seven' seeks to question this schizophrenic rise and fall in popularity, in particular the fall, which is often directly connected to the revelation of their vices. The behaviour of these women, and the press/public reaction to them are likened to the seven deadly sins.
